Hello and thank you for your interest in JPKCustoms. I am JPK and I am the owner of this unique custom furniture business. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Detroit, MI and grew up wakeboarding and playing travel hockey. These experiences have taught me the importance of attention to detail, hard work, and creativity - all of which I bring to my work as a craftsman and furniture creator.
Colorado
My move to Boulder, Colorado was one of the most uncertain periods in my life. I had no plan, no job and no idea what the future held. But it was also one of the most rewarding experiences - ultimately leading me to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduation, I lived in Vail, CO for a few seasons. I felt there was more to see, and so I continued west to California.
Living on a sailboat and running around the westside was everything I had hoped it to be. I was on a wild ride that was forced to come to an end. After a devastating bike accident, I spent my recovery answering life's difficult questions. When I found myself in a my darkest time, ready to give up, I said fuck it. I decided to do whatever it was that made me feel better in that moment. As time went on, I found myself creating more and more. I was blessed enough to turned my passion into a full-time business, thanks to support from those around me. Once the problems of 2020 hit I began to consider where and what I wanted my next chapter to look like. One visit to Montana and my decision was made for me.

These last couple of years have been really exciting. I have started to make connections with some amazing people. It is incredible what a special mountain Big Sky is. Bozeman reminds me so much of Boulder, CO 20 yrs ago. Im stoked to be a part of this place and can't wait to grow with it!
